The Online 401(k) Hires Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Mr. Munson will oversee all aspects of business development and marketing. Mr. Munson joins The Online 401(k) after fourteen years at Charles Schwab where he worked with more than 300 independent third party administrators and grew that business channel to over $40 billion in assets.
Mr. Munson has spent his entire working career in the retirement industry, having joined the financial services world at Bank of America’s Institutional Trust Department when 401(k) plans were first introduced to the marketplace. At Bank of America his responsibilities included plan consulting and recordkeeping, in addition to managing employee benefit trust and custody relationships.
At Charles Schwab, in addition to business development and relationship management for smaller to mid-level retirement plan relationships, Mr. Munson helped build the services of The Charles Schwab Trust Company from its founding in 1992 to one of the leading retirement custody platforms with $65 billion in assets under management.
